1. About These Terms

These terms explain what you can expect from us and what we ask of you when you use LifestyleBathrooms.com.au.

They apply whenever you visit this website, submit a renovation enquiry, or use any service available through the platform. The agreement is between you and Lifestyle Bathrooms Pty Ltd (referred to throughout as “Lifestyle Bathrooms,” “we,” or “us”).

One thing worth understanding before you read any further: Lifestyle Bathrooms is a referral and connector platform. We are not a licensed contractor, we do not carry out renovation work, and we do not employ the specialists we refer you to. We connect homeowners and property professionals with independent, licenced renovation specialists — that’s the service we provide. Nothing more, nothing less.

2. What We Do (and Don’t Do)

Lifestyle Bathrooms operates as an introduction service. When you submit an enquiry through this platform, we work to connect you with renovation specialists in your area who are licenced, insured, and have been assessed against our vetting criteria.

That’s where our role ends.

We do not:

  • Perform bathroom renovations or any building work
  • Act as your contractor, builder, or project manager
  • Negotiate contracts or pricing on your behalf
  • Supervise or oversee renovation work carried out by referred specialists

We maintain vetting standards for the specialists on our platform — you can read about those at /our-standards and /contractor-vetting-standards. Applying vetting criteria is not the same as guaranteeing outcomes. We can tell you that a specialist met our criteria at the time of assessment; we cannot tell you that every job will go perfectly.

Any contract for renovation work is formed directly between you and the specialist you choose to engage. Lifestyle Bathrooms is not a party to that contract.

3. Requesting a Quote

When you submit an enquiry form on this website, your contact details and project information are passed to renovation specialists in your area who may be a good fit for your job.

By submitting an enquiry, you’re consenting to being contacted by those specialists about your renovation. That contact may come by phone, email, or SMS — depending on what you’ve provided and how the specialist follows up.

Getting a quote through this platform is free and carries no obligation. You’re not locked in to anything by making an enquiry, and you’re not required to proceed with any specialist who contacts you.

We ask that the information you provide in your enquiry is accurate. The specialists we connect you with will use that information to prepare quotes and plan their approach. If the details you submit don’t reflect your actual project, it wastes everyone’s time — including yours.

Lifestyle Bathrooms does not control when or how quickly specialists respond to enquiries. Response times vary.

4. Independent Contractors — Not Our Employees

We want to be direct about this, because it matters.

The renovation specialists referred through this platform are independent third parties. They are not employed by Lifestyle Bathrooms, they are not our subcontractors, and they do not act as our agents. They run their own businesses, set their own prices, manage their own teams, and take responsibility for the work they carry out.

Lifestyle Bathrooms does not:

  • Enter into any contract with you on behalf of a specialist
  • Guarantee the quality, timeliness, or cost of work performed by a referred specialist
  • Bear any liability for defects, delays, disputes, property damage, or any other issue arising from renovation work

If something goes wrong on a job, the dispute is between you and the specialist directly — not with us. We’d encourage you to check that any specialist you engage holds current insurance and appropriate licences before work begins. Getting a written contract in place before any work starts protects you regardless of who you hire.

5. Our Liability to You

The information on this website is provided in good faith and to the best of our knowledge, but it is general information only. Nothing on LifestyleBathrooms.com.au constitutes professional building advice, legal advice, or financial advice. If you need advice specific to your situation, speak to a qualified professional.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Lifestyle Bathrooms is not liable for:

  • Any loss or damage arising from renovation work carried out by a referred specialist
  • Disputes between you and a specialist, including over pricing, workmanship, or timelines
  • Damage to your property during or following a renovation
  • Budget overruns or unexpected costs
  • Any reliance on general information published on this website
  • Any failure or delay by a referred specialist to perform work as agreed

This limitation applies whether the loss is direct, indirect, consequential, or of any other kind.

6. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any right or consumer guarantee that applies to you under the Australian Consumer Law and cannot lawfully be excluded. Those rights remain in place regardless of what these Terms say.

9. Your Privacy

When you submit an enquiry through this platform, your contact details and project information are shared with the renovation specialists we match you to. That’s how the connection works — we’re not holding your details back from the people you’re asking us to connect you with.
